Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use tangerina.io, docs.tangerina.io and Tangerina Deformable, made by Tangerina Inc. ("Tangerina", "we"). When you use the websites or the software, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use them.

The software

Tangerina Deformable is a simulation engine, used through its plugins and its Rust, Python and C SDKs. We license the software to you. We do not sell it. Tangerina keeps all rights to the software and its documentation.

The trial

The trial is free. It gives all features of the Blender plugin and of the Rust, Python and C SDKs for 7 days, up to 2,500 tetrahedrons per simulation. After 7 days the software stops. You may use the trial once per computer, and you may not try to restart or extend it.

The Standard license

• A Standard license is 1 seat. 1 seat is 1 device: the license is active on one computer at a time.
• It covers the engine, the Blender plugin and the Rust, Python and C SDKs, with no tetrahedron limit.
• It is perpetual: you pay once, and the license does not expire.
• You may move it to another computer. Deactivate it on the old computer first.
• You may use it for personal and commercial work. What you make with the software is yours.

What you may not do

• Share, sell, rent or publish your license key.
• Use one license on more computers than it allows, at the same time.
• Remove, bypass or change the trial or license checks.
• Share, sell or publish the software, the SDKs or their source code. To ship the engine inside an application you give to others, write to us first.
• Reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it.

Payment and refunds

Prices are in US dollars. Stripe takes the payment, and taxes may be added for your country. To ask for a refund, email support@tangerina.io from the address you bought with. After a refund, the license stops working.

Updates

We may release new versions of the software. We may add, change or remove features in new versions.

The websites

The text, images and documentation on the websites belong to Tangerina. You may read and link to them. You may not copy them in large parts or use the Tangerina name or logos without our written permission.

No warranty

The websites and the software are provided "as is", without any warranty, to the extent the law allows. Simulations are approximations: check the results before you rely on them.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Tangerina is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or work. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

End of the license

If you break these terms, your license ends, and you must stop using the software. The sections on ownership, warranty and liability stay in effect.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top. The terms in effect on the day you bought your license apply to that license.
